Dominion of Canada

Might need to expand on that. Canada is technically still the Dominion of Canada, even though we call it the Federal Government vs the Dominion Government since about the 1950s.

But in what year exactly?
There is no real year for it, because it never stopped being one. If your asking when Canada's journey towards independence was completed then you could say with the signing of the Statute of Westminster, although that just formalized what had been the the situation since the end of the First World War.

The name Dominion was phased out from the late 40s to the late 50s/early 60s.

In 1952 the term Commonwealth Realm replaced Dominion in Commonwealth parlance.
You're right. In 1953, the term "dominion" was replaced by "her other realms and territories" of the style of the British sovereign:

1952–1953: By the Grace of God, of Great Britain, Ireland and the British Dominions beyond the Seas Queen, Defender of the Faith.
1953-present: By the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith.
