And why would you even want to?
Everyone I ever met from Africa who had any experience with Rhinos said they are the meanest, craziest, most unstable animal in the wild. If they can be domesticated then It means every wild animal could be domesticated.
And even in that unlikely scenario, i think that while we are surfing on our pet sharks there would still be one animal that remains un-domesticated, and that would be the rhino.
Haven't you ever seen 300?
Fair enough. Is there a particular reason for their unstable craziness?
Poor eyesight, as I stated, is part of it.

I think cray is right, eyesight plus an aggressive disposition combine for a really mean animal. Some of the people from Africa I talked to said that other animals in the wild, animals that I would be terrified of, can get used to humans. This doesn't mean that you go up and pet a lion or tiger, but sometimes they get comfortable enough being around humans that they're not automatically going to freak out and attack you (unless they are really hungry I guess). I was told this is not the case with Rhinos, and when a Namibian sees one he high tails it as fast as he can away from it. It is just a really aggressive and unstable animal.
I've seen people hugging and play wrestling with tigers and lions. It's probably not a good idea and I would be way too scared to approach any wild animal like that, but a lion with the right disposition raised in the right environment can be downright docile in comparison to a rhino. Rhinos are dicks.
