Is there a term for being able to communicate between time periods/time lines, say by a "magic" telephone? Or is this another use of the term "ISOT"?

Not an established one, but wasn't there some story, either published or on here, called "Crosstime Telephone"?

I don't know if we've ever had a formal term for it, although it's certainly been a popular subject in the Role-Playing forum for many years. I kind of remember the "Crosstime Telephone" story Burton mentioned, though for me the first thing I think of is the movie (and recent TV series) Frequency which is about this very idea.

I'm all for adopting either "Cross Time Telephone" (CTT), "Cross Time Radio" (CTR), or "Cross Time Messaging" (CTM) as the term for it, though. :)
