Do you think Greece got shafted after WWI?

Did Greece get shafted after WWI?

Not really. Greece got huge territories in the peace treaties, many of which were scarcely deserved (like western Thrace). It wasn't the fault of the Allies that Greece decided to launch an invasion of central Anatolia for which they had no reasonable justification.

Even though the OP is banned I gotta give my share of answers...

Italy got 'shafted' or better said, got less then they were suppose to get. Even if they had some nasty failures... France and Britain got the lion share of the Central Powers.

Greece did not get 'shafted'. For that, you need to fight at least as long as Italy IMHO... Hell, they were lucky enough to get Western Thrace and Eastern Thrace (the latter was lost but still...). And that is because there was no alternative to give it to. For Dalmatia, the Allies had the Croats, Serbs (Yugoslavs) and Italians. They chose the Serbs.

To be fair, by the standard of "who fought for the longest period of time" the Serbs were in the war longer than the Italians. Though certainly by the standards of who managed to make the greater gains/earned thorugh results rather than efforts that Britain and France made their gains on, Italy had certainly earned Dalmatia over Serbia. Geopolitics is the art of the possible rather than ideals.

I never denied Serbia was any shorter and that is why I never mentioned them. If someone deserved spoils as winners of WWI it was Serbia.

Ah, my apologies. I must have mistaken the context of your surronding statement, since the main thrust of your post was that Italy diden't get what they deserved, so I thought you were saying Serbia being awarded with Dalmatia was unfair.
