Do you prefer to read timelines which tend towards dystopia or towards utopia?

I prefer reading timelines which show the better side of human nature and in which, on balance, the world is a better place than it actually is. Such as with shorter and/or fewer wars, and shorter lasting and/or fewer dictatorships. As regards Protect and Survive type timelines, though they are very well written and have a morbid fascination, I find them depressing. I would like to read a timeline in which a nuclear war is averted at the 59th minute of the 11th hour.

I'm definitely more of a fan of dystopias, they just seem more interesting and real to me because I often imagine what it would be like to live in those TLs and their aftermaths. Honestly watching the entire world slowly turn to shit in For All Time, and imagining what if be like to live in that terrible world is one of the most powerful things I've ever read.
I feel like reading FaT should be a prerequisite for members, it was written so long ago and keeps getting harder to find
