Divide and Conquer

Hmm, Memnon of Rhodes fighting for Rhodes. Interesting to see where that leads.

On reflection, he might stop at the Euphrates because going anyfurther,he will not be able to effectovly administrate, let alone control a empire stretching from Greece to the Indus any more than Alexander could. So he would stop at controlling west of the Euphrates and then we will see how he decides to administrate his massive empire.
With the most fertile area in the known world just across the river? Doubt it-he'd be more likely to stop at the Tigris or Zagros in that case.

Well now that I'm thinking about it, the Zargos would be a better border.

Slydessertfox- I tend to agree with you about Philip II, although I do tend to think that while his megalomania is huge, his sons is significantly larger. As for Memnom of Rhodes, I do plan to keep him interesting, but plans may always change.

Gog3541- As for Jews vs Sarmatians, I am not sure, I will have to like into it. Burning Tyre, It is likely he wouldn't even get in a position were he needs to besiege Tyre. As for the Egyptians, that's more up to them and what he does. Although Obguess that means ultimately it is up to me. :D I agree, Zagros make the most logical border.

Groucho- I think Philip II, while he may not be the military genius Alexander is, he is a much better diplomat, and is better at managing vassals and nobles.
