Different London boroughs, eight instead of thirty two

Instead of the 32 boroughs we have today, what if there were only eight, super boroughs/cities that make up the metropolis of London

1: City of Westminster & Royal Kensington
(present day Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea and
Hammersmith & Fulham, plus Euston, Kings Cross and Holborn)

2: Royal City of Greenwich-Southwark-upon-Thames
present day Greenwich (west of Plumstead), Lewisham, Southwark, plus Penge, Beckenham from Bromley, Waterloo from Lambeth and North Woolwich from Newham, became a Royal city in 2012

3: Battersea City Council
Present day, Lambeth, Wandsworth and eastern parts of the Borough of Richmond, and Wimbledon from Merton

4: City of Middlesex
Present day, Western Richmond borough, all the boroughs in NW & North London including Camden & Islington, the largest of the super-boroughs

5: City of London (proper)
Present day city of London including all the Docklands, Hackney and Tower Hamlets

6: Leaside Towns
Present day all the boroughs in NE London

7: Orpington Borough Council
Present day: Bromley, Bexley, and Abbey Wood and Thamesmead from Greenwich

8: City of Sutton-Croydon-upon-Wandle
Present day: Croydon, Sutton, Merton (except Wimbledon) and Kingston

How do you think each borough would be ran, which parties would have a majority in each borough?
