One consequence i imagine is that East Germany would be more rural, while Poland would be more urban.
East Germany being more rural might be poorer than in OTL. While a more urban Poland would be richer.
This changed settlement patter in Poland and East Germany would likely have demographic consequences. Poland might have lower birth rates than in OTL, while East Germany had higher birth rates than in OTL.
Poland would be more concerned about security as their border in the west would be less defensible than their OTL border at the Oder.
East Germany might decide to have their capital more east than OTL. This would be to symbolise their eastward view and to consolidate eastern holdings. Perhaps Stettin could be the capital?
West Germany would be more willing to recognise the border changes earlier. There would also be less opposition from hardliners and nationalists to this change in policy.
During reunification a larger portion of East German population would migrate westward due to there being less urban centers in East Germany. But the East German population would still be larger after this migration than in OTL.
Due to Eastern Germany being bigger, i think it will likely result in greater Soviet influence there than in OTL. This greater Soviet influence would perhaps be the reason for the Soviet's allowing East Germany to maintain some of it's possesions east of the Oder except for East Prussia.
East Germany would be able to lessen emigration to West Germany. This is because a larger portion of the population would live further from the border.
