Different countries for the French revolution

Could it be in Spain or the United Kingdom or Portugal or Holy Roman Empire or Russian Empire or Ottoman Empire or in another nation?

Could it be Eastern nations like China or Japan?

What and why this nation has the potential to be a place for the alternative French revolution

Well, if it's the French Revolution, then it has to happen in a French nation, doesn't it?

All joking aside, Russia was definitely incapable of having a revolution similar to the one in France at this point in time. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth actually had a revolution-esque revolt in the form of the Kosziuszko Uprising, but it failed and it was extremely, extremely unlikely to be successful.

I can't speak for other nations, sorry.

Do you mean a successful revolt against an absolute(ish) monarch? Regicide? The Terror? A new social/political/economic order? Any of those could occur anywhere. All of them occurred in Russia (though post-1900).

Possibly England if there is no English Civil War (abd therefore no glorious revolution) or the Royalists come out on top (maybe it could play out more like the fronde?). It is far from likely though...

Spain seems difficult, unless there is a compleyely different socioeconomic developement there, which I don't know how could come to pass.
