Ferd42’s idea for Britain
The Birth of the British Proactive movement
The death of King George V at the hands of a union activitist in 1919 the country was thrown into turmoil. There were large scale strikes and riots and the army had to be recalled from the front, resulting in several German break throughs. The period of March to May became know as the Red Spring - the revolters were in the minority of workers, but still managed to prevent the day to day running of the country on the most part.

The Red Spring significantly weakened the British War effort, but the counter union backlash was to mark the death of the British Trade union movement. By June the country was back under enough control for the Funeral of George V to take place. By this time the situation in France was out of control and without French support the British were forced to sue for peace.

The Proactive movement was birth out of the returning soldiers from the front. The phrase was born out a feeling that reaction was not enough to defeat the forces of leftism or ensure national pride, but that one must be proactive. In 1920 the British Proactive Union was formed, led by John Nottingwood.

My idea indeed was that at least some of the Romanist powers side with Russia in World War II. Maybe the "fifth column" idea is even better?
Possible alliances:
The Paris-Moscow Axis:
Sorelian France, Russian State, Abkhazia, Romania, Imperial China, and possibly Serbia?

The Eurasiatic Alliance
Germany, Poland, Flanders, Austria, Hungary, Ukraine, Finland, Montana, Ireland, Japan,
And maybe the United States?

Magnum Imperium
Roman Republic, Spanish State, Sparta, Macedonia, Argentina, Turkish National Army, Lusitania, and the Empire of Twantinsuyu

And maybe the United States?

I planned them to intervene later. But yes, they would probably be part of the war, too.

Together wth Hellenist Greece and Bulgaria, and I would think that China is in a warlord period.

I would add Georgia, Azerbaijan, maybe even Persia,...

I think that a later intervention makes sense, especially given America's longer lasting isolationism.
China is in a warlord period, but one of the factions is the resurgent Qing, led by Puyi

The Cardiff Conferences
The Cardiff conference and the 10 point manifesto
By 1920 there was a wide ranging collection of proactive movement across the country. The June Cardiff conference was an attempt to unify the movement behind a platform. The movement gained a boost from the support for Admiral Beatty, currently out of work. As a result of 4 days of debate and voting the 10 point manifesto was published.
  1. Loyalty to the King
  2. Respect for the rights of Britons
  3. Opposition to all kinds of socialism, which seeks to deny the above mentioned rights.
  4. Disentanglement from European wars
  5. Restoration of Britains global empire
  6. Unification of the British peoples into one state
  7. Mentention of pariliment
  8. Reliance on air and naval warfare for the defence of the British isles.
  9. Use of the government to improve living standards, therefore deafeting socialism
  10. Nationalation of key industries, both for defence and living standards purposes

1937: The Rise of The Totalitarians
1937.png

The world in 1937, when Konstantin Rodzhaevsky came to power in Russia.
EUROPE:
-The Grand Duchy of Ulster is created in the Kingdom of Ireland, ending the conflicts there.
-Brittany is allowed to split off as a Autonomous Commune of the Gallic Socialist Republic, and the Commune of Wallonia drifts further into the French sphere
-Inspired by the formation of the Roman Republic, Romanist movements sweep across Spain, Lusitania, Macedonia, Greece, and Romania.
-Small Macedonia is best Macedonia (According to every other Balkan state)
-The Transylvanian wars occur (no Vampires were harmed), in which Hungary loses territory to Romania
-Montana has stabilized somewhat, as have the other Caucasus states.
-A lot of border shifting occurs in the interwar period in eastern Europe, eventually settling down to what is shown here.
-Zionist rebels land in Palestine, and quickly seize Tel Aviv, and then march inland. Many believe that this is the trigger of the ethnoreligious and political tensions that have been brewing in the Ottoman Empire since the end of WWI, and soon, the Ottoman civil war will begin.
-And of course, Rodzhaevsky rises to power in Russia

AFRICA:
-France removes its old colonial administration, and allows most of its colonies to become independent as "Allied Communes", with the exception of Algiers (annexed to the Metropole), Mali, and Maghreb (both of which get the same "Autonomous Commune" deal as Brittany.
-Little has changed in the rest of Africa, colonial rule is still terrible

ASIA: *Note: China has many warlord states, I chose to show governments that they recognize.*
-The many small states near Gujarat form a confederation for their own defense.
-The Japanese Revolution was successful, and the Federation of Democratic Republics has taken the place of the old empire, which still holds on to Formosa.
-the F.D.R has launched an invasion of the Siberian Hetmanate, and is backing the Chinese Communists.
-As America continues to be rather isolationist, especially with the economic crises, their support for the Republic of China dries up.
-the United Arab States have been formed.
Never fight a land war in Asia...

THE AMERICAS:
-Argentina has become its own flavor of Romanist, and has puppeted Uruguay and Paraguay
-Chile and Bolivia have strong Romanist movements as well, but they haven't seized power yet.
-Columbia is in a full blown civil war between Communists and Nationalists.
-The United States got to keep a small strip of coastline in German Guiana, ending the war quickly
-Germany has been trying to get the US to sell them the Canal Zone for years now, with no success

WORLD:
-The Great Depression has hit all major countries in one way or another, leading to the rise of Belaism in Russia, Romanism in Southern Europe, and LibSoc in Asia

I hope this makes sense...
