So far, it seems like the United States is shaping up to be fairly anti German in its political parties, and its military actions, especially given the war in Guiana

That's way too many parties for American politics. How many of them are "third" ones?

I think, with the election system I proposed, it's not that many parties after all. However, I would say that Democratic Labour, the GOP, the ACA/MCU duo, and (at least in some parts of the nation) the Socialist Party are competitive. More recently, American Nature might win some seats.

But the other parties are minor ones. Not as irrelevant as OTL third parties, but specific to one interest/sector of the population.

So a certain party might be popular in, say upstate new York, but nowhere else?

I doubt it's that specific - of course there could (with an appropriate history etc.) be a party for a region, but (as far as I know) there are areas in the USA where the Socialist Party could compete more than in others. Mainly in the Rust Belt and maybe in some coal-mining areas.

We mentioned a parliamentary system USA, and that's interesting. Maybe an economic recession a la the Great Depression pushes for something like that to happen?

The United States, by voter frequency
I am working on a very, very, WIP of the election map for the US, but it's too large for me to post the whole thing

Perhaps the Ottoman Civil war is like the Spanish civil war, in that you have the *axis intervening on one side, and the *allies intervene on another?
Also, how bad is the Armenian Genocide in this timeline? And do the Ottomans do the same thing to other ethnic groups?

Unless Russia goes into jeopardy earlier, the genocide and all its horrors would still take place.

So I just need to tell you guys something. My midterm exams begin on the 16th of September, so for September could you guys manage the timeline a little bit? Please don’t do much involving India, but could you otherwise act as caretakers while i’m busy?

Good ideas already!

I would propose - the party names are provisional (as is nearly everything else):

Socialist Workers' Party (Orthodox Marxist, pro-France, state atheist)
Socialist Party (far-left, democratic socialism, some factions pro-Japan/EAWPS, Laicist)
Democratic-Labour Party (left-wing to centre-left, social democrat in an European sense, some factions left-wing populist)
American Christian Alliance (centre)/Mormon Christian Union (centre, only runs in Utah - the CSU of the US)
American Nature (centre, ecologist, conservative, Christian Democratic, some factions more left-wing)
Libertarian Party (extreme centre, libertarian, pro-civil rights, "Freedomite" (i.e. for utmost freedom in every aspect))
Republican Party (centre-right, market liberalism, fiscal conservatism, civic nationalism)
Native American Movement (centre-left to left-wing, Native American rights)
African Solidarity Union (left-wing to far-left, nevertheless Christian, African-American rights)
American Party (right to far-right, American nationalist, social conservatism, Christian Identity politics, pro-Life, factions are pro-Manifest Destiny and anti-German, the most radical factions openly Romanist and/or Belaist)
So could you recommend any logos for the parties?
