Did the Entente allow any German forces to intervene in the Russian Civil War?

I've had this question in the back of my mind but I can't seem to find any sources on whether or not the Germans were allowed to help the Whites fight against the Reds. Any sort of intervention, whether with volunteers, regular forces, or just arms exports is what I'm looking for.

On a sidenote, would there be any situation in which post-war Germany would be allowed to intervene alongside the Entente?

There were a number of kingdom of Poland German allied troops, General denkin recruited an entire legion of frikorp marines.

Yes, they did. Most notably in the Baltic region, where a large German contingent fought under general von der Goltz. In theory, they were there to fight against the Reds - but in practice, they were pursuing nationalist goals. They sabotaged the native anti-Bolshevik war effort; overthrew the Latvian government; instituted a reign of terror in many regions; and, in general, made a big nuisance of themselves.

As a result of all that, the Entente revoked its permission for the German Baltic adventure in mid 1919.

Were there any considerations by the Entente to allow similar operations in other areas formerly occupied like the Ukraine? At least till other troops could take their place?

Or did they not want to take chances with leaving the Germans in place?

Chapter II, point twelve of the armistice of Compiegne :
Twelve - All German troops at present in the territories which before belonged to Austria-Hungary, Rumania, Turkey, shall withdraw immediately within the frontiers of Germany as they existed on August First, Nineteen Fourteen. All German troops at present in the territories which before the war belonged to Russia shall likewise withdraw within the frontiers of Germany, defined as above, as soon as the Allies, taking into account the internal situation of these territories, shall decide that the time for this has come.
That IMO covers ALL german troops, including ukrainians, no further specification about or excluding these are given.https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Armistice_between_the_Allied_Governments_and_Germany
