Did Norse and Danish ships have names

Not too sure if this should go here, if the powers that be, think it shouldn't...

As the title says, did 'Viking' ships have names and if so any idea what would be named after. Gods, places, girls?
Any help would be nice.

It's human nature to name objects - think how many people name their cars.
However if you're asking about official names (RMS Titanic etc) then that presupposes an agency that's recording the name, likely for tax purposes.
So you'll need to look into the ship culture of Vikings in order to determine official vs unofficial names.

Gone Fishin'
My mind went to a strange place - as it often wanders - and I imagined a viking slaving raid by drakkars D-42, D-550 and D-678, and knarrs K-11 and K-39.
