It's well-known she declared war on Britain and the U.S. (and probably Yugoslavia and Greece) in WWII, but not on the USSR.

However, in WWI, who did Bulgaria declare war on? Serbia? Romania? Greece? France? Italy? Britain? The US? Russia? All the above? Some of the above but not others?

I remember hearing in a video on The Great War Youtube channel, one of Bulgarian general's quote saying that despite the fact that Russians helped Bulgaria gain independence in 1878, now Russia was Bulgaria's enemy as it was fighting in Dobruja on the side of Romanians. Now, I'm not sure whether Russia was officially at war with Bulgaria, but why would they fight against Bulgarians if they were not at war?

Bulgaria declared war on Serbia and Romania. It received declarations of war from France, Britain, Russia, Italy, Greece and Montenegro.

So in WWII, it did not declare war on the USSR, but the Soviets did not declare war back? At least until they got a chance to act on it, in late 1944?
