Denmark WW2: Pro-Nazi Royal Family

We know from recent disclosed documents that do to their closed contacts with nobility in Germany, the Swedish Royal Family supported Hitler and the Nazi on paper.

But what if the danish royals had been openly pro-nazi?

imagine the following scenario.

July 1936: Gobbels is on a visit in Denmark by special invitation of the danish king. Here the king who is raging anti-socialist and anti-semite discuss how as the king puts in "The negativ influence by jews on European society". Gobbels then says to the King that "Herr Hitler shares you concern, and preperations are under way to deal with these problems".
The King then presents Gobbels with the highest danish order called "Riderskorset" to take to Herr Hitler.

April 1940 Germany Invades Denmark, to "protect" Denmark against foreign influence, and commen enemies it shares with Germany! We now see a King and Royal family who is openly anti-socialist and anti-semite. The King visits Hitler several times during the war. How is the view by the danish public of the royals? What will happen to the danish royal family then the Germany's fortunes of war change?

Well I think invading a country you share views with may slightly mar the relationship, though I wouldn't understand why.

Remember the Nazis in OTL never said they invaded Denmark, they claimed to want to protect Denmark against commen enemies!

It doesn't matter what they said, placing a military presence in someone else's country without consent is an aggressive act. And the Danes did resist and fight back, so they are hardly likely to accept their conquerors as friends.

Maybe in my scenario the royals thought they could obtain more power by seeking support in Germany?
