Tayyiba Taylor; President of the United States

President Tayyiba Taylor stood on top of the podium, proud and ever more grateful to be reelected as president of this great nation she calls her home. She watch her audiences in a very patriot state. She tucked in her shirt and put on her professional face as she sets to meet a million faces of Americans. The economy had been recently degrading to a 12.6% growth of GDP [3] and the Stock Market had fell from a status quo of 600 point growth of the Dow Jones Average to a 340 point growth; the lowest in 15 years.

She held the lump in her throat as she prepares for her oration in hopes to rally up Americans from the recent drop, "Greetings, my fellow Americans. As we celebrate our new year of 2013 with our hopes optimistic, we suddenly have to endure with the descending trend of the economy, unseen in years.

"Now, we have been enduring similar quandaries for a long time. If we can survive the Great Recession of 1967 than we can survive anything. If we can launch a civilisation on Mars, than we can endure anywhere and extend our limits beyond. If we can mine the belts, then we can dig our way through our problems such as that of the energy quandary. [1] We endured many struggles, global ones, but yet we achieved to better understand the problem and extend our solution to our very best.

"Decisions in Congress cannot be achieve so easily. There are many divisive issues we have to face and that may lead to controversy, or maybe a split in a cooperation, or other means to drag or cause an intermittent in a goal or solution to an issue. But yet no matter the divisiveness or chaotic these decisions in Congress can get, we can still find a solution that meets all necessities of all peoples.

"No we've been divided in many issues over the decades. That does not mean it is the catalyst for the drop in growth, but it means that we, as Americans, are not being more collaborative and cooperative to meet our needs for progress and growth in all levels of institutions. I will not be equivocating this issue to a chaotic sense, but more of a sense of divisiveness.

"We as humans are imperfect. We cannot agree on the same terms, but if we keep arguing ourselves rather than finding a solution that will meet the needs of all, the problems will only mount until it consumes us. Only if we face our problems ourselves, can we actually create an optimal solution and will create a satisfying level to the needs of all. Humans are imperfect, but if we keep dividing ourselves from one another, we will continue to block ourselves from the real solution to the problem.

"Now, the premise that we’re all created equal is the opening line in the American story. And while we don’t promise equal outcomes, we have strived to deliver equal opportunity -- the idea that success doesn't depend on being born into wealth or privilege, it depends on effort and merit. And with every chapter we’ve added to that story, we’ve worked hard to put those words into practice. [2]

"For our economy, we can achieve a relative astounding growth if we cooperate rather than initiating blame or arguing with one another. We can set our mind into this solution as we did with all others. As one famous American had said, 'Growth and Progress comes only with Cooperation and Ingenuity of all Peoples'.

"We must rally together, not just as liberals or conservatives, but as Americans as altogether, and promote a solution.

"We must cooperate and give each and every one of us a fair chance and a voice to the solution. If we ever ignore one person, we give ourselves an ever smaller chance to finding a solution.

"Now, we are dealing with a problem. A problem that divide us once more. We can't let ourselves be divided by a problem we can simply solve.

"We must set aside past issues with one another and analyse, as Americans, and forever find our stance in an ever fluctuated world and face it hand in hand because that is defining the American story for us all: standing hand in hand and face the true quandary together regardless of previous issue or any other institution or ethnic-religious background. We are all here together, and we will face this problem, or ever deny ourselves from the truth and realisation of the solution.

"I am proud to say, that I am an American, because we can cooperate and understand one another to the betterment of society. Long Live America! Love Live Progress!" A large applause set her smile even wider as the crowd of millions of true Americans cheered her forward.

Gay Pride Parade Scheduled in Istanbul, Ottoman Federal Union

WASHINGTON - Yet another Parade is scheduled in March for another strike to legalised and nationalised Gay Marriage in the Ottoman Federal Union. Both homosexuals and heterosexuals will rise up together in unison to promote equality for all peoples no matter of their sexual orientation. Many liberals hope that this parade can rally millions of Ottomans into rallying with them to promote equality.

Conservatives, though, lashed against the liberals by stating that "Allah hates Homos" and promoting hate speech that states how the Koran does no permit homosexual marriage. Conservatives, though, are in a deadlock as many liberals fought back and after the bombings, grew in numbers to rally against the conservatives.

Parliament in Istanbul is a bit divisive in this issue with the Populist Party being more open to acts with the equality for all regardless of sexual orientation whilst the Conservative Party being against the issue. Congress, though, is already in a really hot issue with the deaths of two dozen homosexual Ottomans in Ankara yesterday after a far-right organisation bombed a gay bar.

Americans, already legalising and nationalising homosexual marriage a full two decades or so ago, are rallying with the liberal Ottomans. Already in a divisive issue with transgender rights (which in turn gave way to transgender pride parades three years ago) and the promotion of BDSM and leather pride, Americans are in a handful to fully support the Ottomans to fight for homosexual rights but are still in aid of it.

The parade will be scheduled in Selimiye at 1300. Hundreds of thousands are expected to arrive and join in along with a few Americans who are in full support.

To sign up to join for the parade, join here.

[1] The United States, after World War Three, had slowly pushed inwardly in its affairs rather than war and outside influences. As one would say: Absolute Power comes Absolute Corruption. Primary and Secondary education is funded at an accelerated rate giving Americans the top notch in the educational field of asthmatics, science, technology, bioengineering, quantum networking, 3D bioprinting, 3D manufacturing, medicine, and other educational merit at the expense of defense and militia. Of course, the Americans created a large anti-missile defense programme rendering any incoming foreign ICBM attack obsolete once entering American airspace (which means it blows up in the middle of the air), but that only leads to a lesser necessity for war and more in social and economic issues in a liberal and later socialist sense. The value of Individualism with Cooperation helped the better understanding of the American Dream rather than giant armies and Imperialism of its primitive state a century or two ago. This also leaves lots and lots of inexperienced Americans in the military field. The navy and army is pretty much used for Illegal Immigration ( a lot of them are leaving the Old World to America in the millions) and other small military campaigns.

[2] OTL's part of Obama's speech in December 7 in Washington DC here. :):):):)

[3] The United States is so large and so populated (at a population of two billion) that mega factories aroused. The cooperation of man and machine onoly increased profit in an extreme way leading to an exponential growth rate unseen in OTL. Most growth is above 15% for the past decades after World War Three though the U.S.C.R. rivals that growth. The U.S.C.R. has oil as its primary industry and its allocation of large resources prospered economic growth similar to China's in OTL.

This is a hint okay ;) Just wait a few more days for Chapter 2

Major American Parties as of 2013 CE

swastika.jpg

Swastika, The Symbol of the Social-Democratic Party in the United States

- Social-Democratic Party is a major party today. The Social-Democratic Party's agenda is mainly in a progressive and liberal stance in social and economic issues. It is very isolationist in international affairs but it is very pro-immigration. The Party fairs to the industrial and agricultural worker and also fancies with economic cooperation and class collaboration. It believes in the cooperation between man and machine and tries to balance such order through regulated policies in 3D printing and automation. The Party also believes in the aspect of human individualism to promote innovation and creativity but also promotes cooperation to create a stance in unity and diversity. It does not believe in racial or religious divisions, but in a division that we are all humanity or homo sapiens.

- Because the symbol represents evolution, prosperity, and luck in Hindu, the Swastika becomes an official symbol for Progress and Growth, which is a form of evolution of human advancement in critical fields of social psychology and technology, in America and seen as a synonymous for Modernisation during the early and middle twentieth century. The Swastika is present in most US buildings and adverts today (e.g. Inter-American Airlines, Airways of America, East American Skylines, South American Airways, Banana [OTL's Apple], etc.)

Elephant, The Symbol of the Republican Party

-The Republican Party survived thanks to its former liberal stance during the post antebellum stance during the Reconstruction, Guilded, and Imperialist Ages of American History. After the Second World War, the party was seen as a conservative stance and has been that way since.

-The Republican Party is conservative within its policies and is a bit against immigration. Though it is a minor party, it had elected a few presidents after the Third World War. It is popular amongst very religious groups because the party is pro-religion in its policies with the church (and to a lesser extent with other synagogues, mosques, temple, etc.).

Gear and Sickle and Pen, The Symbol of the Worker's Party of the United States

-The Worker's Party is pro-worker in any way possible and is fully against automation and 3D printing as they can usurp the worker's employment and cause massive employment. Recently this party has gain some popularity from recent immigrants. The Party is conservative in economic issues but liberal in social issues.

I would like a Mod to change the title of the thread to The Binary Couple (An American/Russo TL) I've been trying to do it in advanced Edit mode, but it wouldn't let me. I would appreciate if a Mod would do it, thank you.

Sorry Did I Read 15% GDP Growth is a low!?! The Only Countries that have achieved that over the last 5 years are Sierra Leone Bekino Faso. Counties that have terrible economies as a starting point and are finally pulling themselves out of the dumps. 15% for any developed country especially one as big as this United States of America is ridiculous. If the US today wanted to achieve that it would need to grow a Trillion dollars.
*sorry about that I economics is my field of study and that put me off.

Also, Any country that develops an effective defense against a weapon can will use it for offensive capabilities. I find the notion that this America wouldn't use such technology to either expand or enforce peace world wide as a strange one. Too many people would see not doing anything as a failure to act.

Anyhow I find this premise interesting and look forward to more
