OK, WI the Minnesota Iceman had been acquired & unfrozen back in the late 1960s ? Or if the carcass of the SUCURIJU giant anaconda supposedly shot near Manaus in Brazil in 1948 hadn't been disposed of, & was available for study ?

Ja, look at all the new species being discovered in e.g. Indochina today.

More to the point, look at something like the Okapi, discovered in 1901, or the Coelocanth, first discovered in 1938 off Africa, then a SECOND species discovered of Indonesia in 1999.


If Sasquatch were shown to be real, then it would be a known species, and cryptozoologists would go haring off on the track of something else ...

That was a hoax. Unfreezing just confirms it, like the hoax that was attempted in the US South a year or two ago with a similar 'frozen sasquatch'.
