Deathtoll and financial cost if Britain and France overthrow Nasser during the Suez crisis

Say the US decides to back Britain and France in Suez crisis and they decide or get drag by mission creep to invade and install a pro-western regime in Egypt

What would the deathtoll be during the initial invasion for both the Europeans and the Egyptians

What would be deathtoll during an insurgency phase and how long would Britain and France be willing to stay in Egypt

What would the financial cost of all this

How brutal would fighting in the major cities be

He had been in power since the Coup he led in 1952

The Military would roll over, and the Coalition Troops weren't planning to occupy the cities. There would be rioting, however
He would be seen as a failed strongman who aimed too high, with Amer taking over and would try to patch up relations, probably just reversing the Nationalization to regain control of the Canal again, with the provision it would remain open for all traffic

The death toll for the initial invasion by the Europeans would be low, Egyptian losses might be a different story. I doubt Britain and France would leave the Suez Canal region, the canal is what they wanted not Egypt. Nasser probably would survive. If he survived the six-day war, he would survive this.

The financial cost would be high to hold on as Britain and France would need a very large military standing in the area. Israel had then about 175,000 troops which give you a feel of what would be required. Conversely, the Canal would generate a lot of money, today it is about 6 billion dollars. So it is not enough to cover the cost so soon Britain and France would leave.
