OOC-Its cutting it a bit close here, i apologize if it goes over-OOC
I did some reading on Judaism and i read up on this movement started by a guy named Theodor Herzl. Apparently the guy was so appalled at the mess those idiots in the Dryfus affair made he advocated the establishment of a "jewish homeland", which even convinced a few thousand people to that missirable strech of land called Palestine and set up shop, only to have the Jewish settlements fail and fall apart with the settlers either going back to where they came from or mixing with the local jewery by 1900.
Now i know it sounds crazy, but what if the Jewish settlement in Palestine was somehow sucessful and, inspired by their sucsess, inspired more Jews to go there. I know it sounds crazy, but the land holds special religious sugnifigance to the Jews, so a greater sucsess in the first wave of colonists could have sparked something more sugnifigant among the jewish population?
What would the effects of a sucsessful Zion be?
Zor
