DBWI-Yitzhak Rabin Successfully Assassinated

1n 1995, Israeli right-wing extremist Yigal Amir attempted to kill PM Yitzhak Rabin. Rabin survived, but was left paraplegic.
But what if Amir's aim had been a bit better, and he succeeded in fatally wounding Rabin? How would Israeli politics be changed?

Thankfully Rabin was able to successfully negotiate peace terms with the Palestinians, despite his ordeal. But if he hadn't lived? There might have been a second Intifada, or worse; both sides might have even engaged in a full-blown shooting war, the way tensions had been building up at the time.

Rabin was unique in that he was perhaps the only person who was able to paint Arafat into a corner with the 1996 peace talks such that when Arafat tried to reject the settlement in the 96 Camp David accords and call for a new intifada Mahmoud Abbas said no and brought his entire corrupt aid money laundering empire down around him...

His life in prison sentence at the Haig in 2000 was oh so sweet! And thankfully the shock that their beloved leader was a corrupt murdering criminal willing to sacrifice any chance they had at prosperity in order to keep up his criminal empire has allowed at least some Palestinians to seek reconciliation with Israel...

Same about the Gaza strip though... :( If the West Bank is the potential shining light Hamas controlled Gaza is the putrid underbelly...

The assasination attempt was at 1995. Trust me, i'm an Israeli.

What part of Israel were you in, and how did the local Palestinians react?

Yeah, f*** Hamas. I've always felt sorry for the Palis but Arafat was a corrupt imbecile who was the willing puppet of international Islamism. Also, this may just be a rumor, but wasn't Hamas also being funded by Iran and the Taliban at one point?
