DBWI: Woodstock festival hadn´t been nuked.

As you most probably know, the 1969 woodstock festival nuclear attack saw the incineration of at least 300 000 hippies, there was at least 200 000 more victims to burns and fallouts in the surrounding areas.
It produced quiet a chock at the time, since it was the first time ever a secret organisation used nuclear weaponery and the sheer numbers of victims.

What if the attack hadn´t happened? Obviously several hundreds of thousands of hippies would have lived and such attacks would have happened sooner or latter, but what else? Discuss.

Well of course, the attack engendered a great deal of sympathy for the hippies and a great revultion against nuclear weapons. Without the attack, I doubt that Jim Morrison would have been elected the first Hippy president. It would also have taken a lot longer for the anti-nuclear movement to get the USA to abandon nuclear weapons - why, it's even possible that the US would never have dismantled it's nuclear arsenal.

Of course, a lot of the US weapons disappeared in rather mysterious circumstances. Some have later turned up again, as the British found out when they tried to recapture the Malvinas.

Cheers,
Nigel.

OOC: I cannot wipe this stupid grin off my face. Really? Nuke Woodstock? *hilarious*

In defense of the Illuminati, they didn't know Woodstock would gather such a crowd. They really just wanted to wipe out a few mind-corrupting musicians. If those guys had lived... I don't know, there must have been an important reason for the Illuminati to expose themselves in order to incinerate them.

'Whoa man these 'shrooms are great! I can see 'shroom clouds!' - last words of an unkown hippy, before the effects of the blast killed him a few hours after the Woodstock attack.

Without the nuclear attack on Woodstock, the 'summer of love' in 1969 would of been allowed to run its full course and would be finally spent sometime in the late 70s as the hippies entered their 30s and started settling down.

Instead the nuclear attack spawned the Love Generation Party, and a myriad of other political organisations, which led to President Morrison (see above posts) Morrison was also one of the very few hippy 'leaders' that survived the attack, so he was without peer for quite some time. Without it, America would not of withdrawn from Vietnam in 1970, perhaps still involved in the deadly guerilla war still, and the end of the Democratic/Republican 2-party 'dictatorship' as it has become known in the American school system would of continued.

The stars on the American flag would of not been replaced by peace symbols, the world-wide monotorium on nuclear weapons would not of been reached in 1973 and more than likely The Drug Empowerment Act of 1981 (allowing all intoxicants to be consumed and the constitutional right of freedom of choice upheld) would not of been even suggested, let alone passed.

Nobody has till been able to prove it was the Illuminati who were behind this. One group which early claimed responsibility for the act was Worried Parents of America, even though no one took them seriously.
