DBWI William IV died young

as the CK (OCC: Confederated Kingdoms of England, Scotland and Ireland) is getting ready to celebrate 300 years of the House of Oldenburg on the thrown, i wonder what the world would looked like it's founder William IV(1714-1721) had died young, before he had a Heir?

OCC: if you can't guess, William IV is Prince William, Duke of Gloucester Queen Anne's son who died in 1700 OTL.

As I recall, Sophia, Electess of Hannover was the next Protestant in line and then her son Georg. From what I've read those folks were cold and aloof; not the sort of rulers I'd want ruling my country. Being Lutherans, I wonder if they would have attempted to make that the state religion?

A new German royal family? You could probably expect a big swell of support for the Jacobites. Possibly a successful Jacobite revolution with James Stuart as king.
