As we know, at the Congress of Vienna, the Austrians, the French, and the British had begrudgingly went along with the Russo-Prussian plan to grant the Prussian and Austrian portions of the Partitions to Russia, in exchange for Prussia gaining all of Saxony. What would have happened if they had showed some backbone and had forced their hand, and made it clear that doing so would have led to war? Would this have resulted in a vastly different world than we have today? Would it have effected the Canadian Liberation War in the Americas?
