Oh really? And how, prey tell, have the Americans lasted out your stupid isolationism? Where were you in the Invasion of France? Where were you in the bombings of Warsaw and Rotterdam? Where were you when the Nazis detonated the nuke over Moscow? WHERE WE YOU?
The Address never changes. The faraway land on the other side of the ocean. I mean, when we decided that choosing between Hitler, Stalin and Churchill was an idiots choice, as was choosing between Chiang and Konoe, I mean, we prided ourselves on picking good friends.
This notion of supporting dictatorships to our aims is anathema to our policies and our beliefs. The only thing that we have to fear--and as I understand it, will never happen--is Eurasia turning into a single power bloc. And this is unthinkable. Eurasia is simply too big to dominate.
You Britons are our historical enemies; the pricks who burned our White House! Your claim to democracy is flimsy today, and it certainly was untrue even as late of the 1990s. Have you ever thought that you might have deserved what happened to Manchester, London, Swindon, Coventry, Edinburgh and Newcastle? That these nuckings came because you didn't respect the rights and dignity of others by the hundreds of millions?
There is a lot of poetic justice there. But I think the point is clear--your nation was a toady of Nazi Germany and its track record is largely unfavorable.
So much for Jolly Old England. Maybe if you respected the rights of others you wouldn't have been nucked all over the place, but I recognize that this is a hard concept to understand, so I'll end it with a simple American Maxim:
You Reap what you Sow.
