DBWI- United Countries of America survived

If you would look into the history books carefully, you will find out that some Democracy-chaser Hippies declared the independence of a state called United Countries of America (or was it "states"? can't remember) from the British Empire. How such an Atlantic-beach state would affect the History of North America? And what if they Would become Imperialists themself and expand eastwards?

I believe it's actually called United "States" of America...and yeah, I have read about that rebellion...
I will recommend that we use the Battle of Saratoga as the POD: that battle was a major turning point in the rebellion IMO. Had the rebel general (Benedict Arnold, if I'm not mistaken) anticipated Burgoyne's flanking maneuver, the battle would become a crushing victory for the rebels...and who knows, maybe Louis XVI will give some support to the rebellion?

Anyway, the impact of successful colonial rebellion would be immensely huge: North American colonies were the British most populous colonies at that time...so it will surely butterflied away the British Empire as we know it.
