DBWI: The United Kingdom wins the Melvinas War?

The only way I can see us winning is having a decent fleet air arm. Maybe refitting the Eagle instead
of the Ark Royal, she might have lasted until the 80s.

I guess the Brazilian Workers' Republic would not have gained enough popularity to crush the Farmers' Revolt in the northeast. That would have probably sent the Workers' Republic into an authoritarian streak.

Speaking of workers, British trade unionism would be a lot weaker as Thatcher hated them for "socialist" subversion - because how dare they to not be brainless bootlickers.

The south American world war wouldn't have happened. Without the boost in confidence that the malvinas war gave the Argentinos they never would have gone after Chile. Additionally without the Brits funneling arms into Chile the war wouldnt have stayed active for as long as it did. The arms embargo would have stayed in place... Not letting either side have the volume of modern weapons that they used. Without the war Pinochet would not have held on to his death, and his image might be radically different. Perhaps he would have been remembered for his human rights abuses rather then being the plucky prophetic leader who allowed Chile to navigate the threat of the fascist Argentinos on one side, the communists in Peru, and the disintegration of Bolivia into civil war.

Well the constitutional crisis that broke in the US, when it came out that the Reagan Administration was funneling arms to both Argentina and South Africa, with Vice President Bush deeply involved, would have been butterflied away.
