DBWI: The Red Sox stay in Boston, Braves move to Milwaukee

With a POD not earlier than January 1, 1950, how can the Red Sox remain in Boston while the Braves move to Milwaukee?

Presently, the Boston Braves are the second-most profitable team in baseball (NY Yankees are first). And the Milwaukee Red Sox are fighting the Cleveland Indians for first in the AL Central Division.

The managers of the Red Sox had very good reasons to move to Milwaukee, at the time they were losing games and running out of money, it was time for a change to a smaller market. You'd probably have to go back before 1950 to change that.

An entire generation of New Englanders grow up sane and without a constant sense of impending doom.

Oh and Boston becomes and hockey and football town.
