DBWI: Solo and Deadpool 2 move away from April/May

Avengers: Infinity War has recently grossed $2.25 billion, surpassing Titanic at the worldwide box office. Surprisingly, it has also surpassed Black Panther's North American run.

Although no box office analysts predict Avatar's worldwide record to be broken by Infinity War, Avengers has surpassed even the most optimistic expectations

What if Solo and Deadpool 2, which have been cited as possible challenges to Infinity War's possible box office legs, moved within a month of its release?

Solo coming out in May might provide slightly extra ticket sales due to it being the Month of Star Wars, but the problem is due to TLJ and several statements by Kathleen Kennedy and her team at Lucas Films, the core fanbase of Star Wars feels as it has been disrespected and discarded. Enthusiasm is low and there's not much reason to see Solo since it doesn't provide any meaningful reason to see it that would motivate someone who feels alienated.

As for Deadpool, I don't think it will make much difference. It may be better to push it to at least 2 months to allow audiences to rest from watching Infinity War, but Deadpool, unless it somehow is a dumpster fire, will do well.
