DBWI: so where did Adolf Hitler go after 1945?

Since according to the new examination of his remains which turned out to be the ones of a young woman and not of a man. How did Hitler get out of Berlin? Where did he go?

The authenticity of that skull was in doubt from the beginning. Suffice it to say that even if Hitler developed Solid Snake abilities and sneaked out of Berlin somehow, he would be senile soon, especially from the shock of defeat, and dead soon after anyway.

OOC: I think this is supposed to be a DBWI. Or am I wrong?

IC: He took off in about the last plane the Luftwaffe had and probably slipped out in a U-boat. Don't think he could pull of the same stunt as Mengele and hang around in Europe for a few more years. He was too recognisable. And then? On to Argentina or Brazil I guess?

Doesn't matter that much. If he survived the U-boat trip with his bad health, I doubt he would have lived past 1955, most likely 1950.

Also he would need to escape pretty much alone as any entourage would attract Soviet attention and any German attempt to break into Berlin from the outside would be smashed.

Maybe Hitler tried to fly out of encircled Berlin in a Storch, which was struck by Soviet antiaircraft fire and exploded in midair, with the wreckage scattered by exploding artillery rounds, ensuring that no remains were ever found.
Obviously, Hitler's Storch was flown by someone other than the famous Hannah Reitsch, as this aviatrix is known to have survived the war.

No thats an interesting idear.

Perhaps the Luftwaffle's flying saucer landed and flew him to Bavaria, where he fled to Switzerland, made a withdrawl on the banks, then boarded a U-boat in Genoa to be spirited away to New Swabia?

He dressed as an NKVD lieutenant and learned Russian, then spent his last three years before he died guarding prisoners in the Vorkuta slave camps.

Did'nt he end up in Australia? I mean thats where Eva Braun lived with her live in boy friend Alfred. As far as I know the allies decided that trying him would be more trouble than its worth, I mean in the book Spycather the author points out that M16 had pictures of Adolf at work.

He was a toilet cleaner at the MCG.

OOC: Oddly enough Leni Riefenstahl visited Australia quite often over the last half-century, and some people wondered if she'd died in Far North Queensland when it was announced she passed away several years ago.

Some records suggest that he ended up working as a keeper at Chester Zoo. He ran the sealion enclosure.
