DBWI: Slavic Illyria, Latin Dacia?

Dacia is probably one of the most intriguing slavic countries. The country is very religiously and ethnic diverse and had more than one civil war because of it. One of the groups that suffered most persecution in the country's history were the daco-romanians, a minority group which speaks a latin-derived languages. Thinking about this, i was imagining what would happen if Dacia wasn't "slavicized" and its slavic population went to what is Illyria today.

OOC: inspired by one of my old "WI" premises: Slavic "Romania", Romanian "Yugoslavia"

Without being localized right beside Italy, will a Dacian Latin language even be able to survive in the midst of all it's slavic neighbours?

Well, it survived in OTL, at least in small villages on the countryside. Perhaps there would still be a "slavicization" later, specially in the eastern and sourthen territories, which were annexed by Russia and Bulgaria many times, but in Sedmogradsko (popularly know as Transilvania) there would have more chances of preserving the language.
