DBWI: Should President Nixon Get A Third Term?

Well, I dislike the 22nd Amendement, but I don't like the idea of a President being able to run for an unlimited amount of terms. My idea is that we either have a three or four term limit, since that was what FDR was elected to, and as we saw, their are times when we need a strong leader who has proven himself, not a new one.

As for Nixon running again, I'm not opposed to it, but I think it rather needless.

As long as we're changing the constitution and everything how about King Richard I?

OOC: Hmm... does this mean we have President ROBONIXON in 2010?

The history of US Presidencies is that when a President was reaching the end of his 2nd full term either he couldn't wait to leave or the country couldn't (except FDR, of course). Without a Watergate, Nixon survives. But even if there is a thunderous uproar from the country to repeal the 22nd Amendment, the US Congress would simply turn a deaf ear.
