DBWI: Should China Act to Stop the Human Right Violations in Tibet?

India wouldn't dare. They got all that religius tensions, doing something might provoke something worse.
Then again, India would be remiss if it didn't show concern, especially after the border incidents between Tibet and Nepal, wherein Tibetan guerillas went after Nepalese Maoist guerillas in 2001... After the deaths of the Nepalese Royal Family in Kathmandu, the Indian government could point to this as a common thread of national security...
 
But taking a thougher stance would provoke the Budist minority in Europe. It is very tense as you know.
 
Then again, just consider that P.M. Michael Portillo, Labor Party, has been able to create a workable situation in Great Britain by actually meeting with Buddhist leaders in London, Manchester, and Edinburgh since his election in 2005. This was done, even while he has pursued a foreign policy similar to the United States....
