In our world, we all know the first socialist state was created after the German victory in the Franco-Prussian war. While france was very well suited for a form of democratic socialism, it's not the only place a socialist state was tried. In Russia, there was a very little-known party that popped up called the RSDLP, which was a Marxist group which opposed the Nardoviks and other agrarian factions in the Late-Absolutist Russian Empire. While they went away after the liberal reforms began to calm most Russians down, we can absolutely see their... controversial form of Socialism becoming popular. Would we have seen a Socialist/Socialist great game, like we saw with the constitutional monarchies and the Democratic Socialists of our time?
