DBWI: Perot lost in 1992

IOTL, Perot won in 1992 with only 45% of the popular votes. It is a little known fact that he considered dropping out of the race on the eve of the Democratic convention. I know he wasn't a popular President after leaving office, but he did show that an independant can win, so I consider him the most important candidate of the twentieth century. Without him, the two parties would never have lost their stranglehold on power.

well even though Perot fucked up the tax structure for good, i do think it was a good thing he got in.

any way as for what would happen if Perot dropped out in 1992, then given how unpopular George H. W. Bush was, i'd think that Bill Clinton would of won in '92 if not we'd still of been save from that jack-ass George Walker Bush and his evil VP Don Rumsfeld, god was that a bad 4 years. of corse no Perot means no Inconvenient Truth speech and Al Gore go never goes over to the Greens, which would mean no President Gore, no energy indepence, no Kyoto Ect.

And we wouldn't see a John Edwards in 2004 either. There'd also be no Conservative Democrat Party as well, due to no Southern Democrats getting tired of the Liberals in the DEM and being inspired by Perot.
