DBWI:Oldest living former president John F Kennedy has died

OOC: POD is that John F Kennedy never gets Addison's disease

I am sad to wake up to the news that the one of our best presidents John F Kennedy died in his sleep at the age of 99.

Kennedy of course has the record of being the oldest former living president in history.

We all know about his close call with death when Lee Harvey Oswald missed his target Mr Kennedy and hit Texas Govenor John Connley which unfortunately killed him on impact

Tell us your views on the man himself?

ASB: Kennedy had Addison's, and many of his doctors thought he would die before the end of his term. Also, LBJ wasn't in the car with JFK. The bullet would have hit Gov. John Connally, not LBJ.

OOC: Without Addison's disease, his life will have been so dramatically affected that stuff like HLO would be unlikely to happen. That said, it is an interesting premise.

IC: Had the bastard had Addison's, I don't see how he could have become President. It's a debilitating disease that would have left him suffering and I doubt he would have lived long; 1955 at tops. That said, I suppose the one upside is that he could focus on his books, and maybe South East Asia wouldn't be the grotesque mess it is today.

I will agree that he spent less time on Asia. It's was all about Cuba and the spread of communism in Latin America
