I don't see how the US could possibly hold out on UHC once Canada (1960s IIRC?) gets it, it would just make no sense. It's really been such a no-brainer in retrospect that I can't even begin to imagine what it might have looked like -- maybe the left's horror stories are true, and we'd have people dying of silly things like pneumonia just because they couldn't pay, or worse, having to choose between financial solvency and life. Then again, maybe libertarian guys are right, and it might... somehow... bring down prices and waiting time.
