Well south Carolina is in the news again.
The govenor has once again demanded reperations for slavery, specifically ending it. Once again citing that the loss of property damaged the states economy in a fundamental level and that both the state, and decendents of former masters should be fincially compensated.
Which brings us back to the reperations movement which started during the interwar period and has more or less died out except in in South Carolina its birthplace, so my question is this, what if the reperations movement never got off the ground.
What would american politics look like today with out this annoying fringe group?
