FDR was supposed to save the nation from the depression, but he was assassinated in February of 1933. Garner became President, labor unrest and communist uprisings almost tore the nation apart, then Hoover ran in 1936 on a platform of a return to order and expulsion of foreign communists and anarchists. Today he is remembered as one of the great presidents, routinely being ranked in the top ten.

How could it have gone otherwise if FDR survived? From what I've read he comes across as a commie.
