Khalistan the sikh homeland.
Located between india and Pakistan Khalistan was created during the partition of india, this event nearly did not happen the british government during the time period wanted to leave as quickly as possible, and wanted to split india between hindu's and muslums. Sikh's who had fought for the british during the world wars partitioned the UK for a homeland of their own and were ignored by london.
But then men who had fought side by side with Sikh's decided to aid their comrads in arms and engaged in a peaceful protest. The british government was moved with pity and gave the Sihk's the provinces of Punjab, and Haryana, the small land locked country still exists to this day, but what if the protests didn't happen? What would the world look like with out Khalistan?
