The current diplomatic debacle America is in with Korea, as opposed to the detente with North Persia, got me thinking...
The corrupt, America-tied Korean monarchy was toppled by the Confucian Revolution of 1979, and the government was replaced by an authoritarian scholar-ruled regime based on the ideology of Institutional Confucianism.
What if this had not happened?
And, for double irony, could there ever have been an Islamic Revolution in (a non-divided) Persia?
