So we all know well that Benito Mussolini, after a small period of uncertainty, decides to stay pacifist and anti-Intervention during the war, and subsequently overthrowing the monarchy in a civil war after World War 1 and creating the Italian Peoples Republic, a socialist state that assisted in the Berlin-Moscow Axis's victory in World War 2. But what if Mussolini had bent to nationalist and irredentist fervors within Italy at that time?
