What would have been the ramifications of Musketeer failing and Nasser survives? The POD could be the Americans not backing the operation, for whatever reason.
Recent and not so recent released pentagon document clearly showed that the USA really don't supported the operation as it's fully reeks of 'european old empire'style colonialism'...yes yes hypocrysy not withstanding, the USA, behind the curtain, tried to force an european retreat under the menace of economic warfare...but it all ended when the Anglo-French goverment called their bluff; there is a reason for the UK 'sudden' decision to concentrate on the european project.
Sure relations seemed go back to normal when in December started the Hungarian revolt but in reality between the two side of the ocean things needed at least a couple of decade to go back as before..
While Musketeer was a success it was also the last hurrà for the various colonial empire of Europe, by now everybody knows that they will soon go away...still Nasser demise give the necessary shoot in the arms to at least get out on their owns term and salvage some part of the empire, even if at the cost of a lot of hostility in the various third world independent post-colonial nation; a pubblic humiliation can have dire consequence for Israel and the entire decolonization process enbolding the independence movement
