DBWI make the Cleveland Browns really bad

The Cleveland Browns of course are the only undefeated team in the NFL and trying for their third championship in a row. But with a POD in the 21st century, what do you need to do to make them really bad? Like lose all their games this year bad.

Well, with the way the US draft system works, that's too easy. Just have them miss out on drafting all of their household name superstar players like Tom Brady, Antonio Brown, Ezekiel Elliott, Khalil Mack and Aaron Donald, and have them draft a bunch of duds instead. Simples.

Have the owner sell the team. I mean the man is a football genius. Remove him from hiring top men and poof ..the wins go away

The Haslam brothers almost bought the team from Lerner in 2001. Look at the University of Tennessee's athletic department to see how much of a dumpster fire that would have been. Joe Alleva is holding their beer.

During the quarterback controversy fire Bill Belacheck(The Big Dog) instead of sticking with Belacheck is the brains behind the Browns Dynasty, without him at the helm it's highly unlikely the Browns would have drafted Tom Brady.

I know he had some loaded teams, but a POD before they hired Butch Davis probably butterflies their success. The guy can flat out coach. Built the 2000s Hurricanes dynasty and the 2000s-2010s Browns dynasty.

So first thing's first, have another team take Brady in 2000. Remember, the Browns got him in the seventh round, making him pretty much the biggest steal in sports history. I know the 49ers are probably the most plausible option here. After all, Brady did grow up a Niners fan and they were considering taking him the third round, but picked epic draft bust Gio Carmazzi instead. I remember watching an ESPN special hosted by Katie Nolan in which she outlined a scenario in which he went to the Patriots (lol, the awful Patriots who have never been to the playoffs in this century and may move to Toronto) in the sixth round. In her timeline, Bledsoe got injured as IOTL causing Brady to step in. The Patriots (who in real life were led by Damon Huard and missed the playoffs) somehow make a Cinderella run and upset the Raiders led by Hall of Fame Quarterback Rich Gannon (who IOTL won the Super Bowl, the first of their three-peat with Gannon, Rice and Woodson) by some sort of obscure early 2000's NFL rule called the "Tuck Rule." Then they beat the Rams in the Super Bowl (who were mortal as IOTL they were upset by the Raiders, but the Patriots under Brady doing this, hell no). Also this is Katie Nolan who is an uber-biased Pats fan. Although Brady is a six-time world Champion in Cleveland he did not start until 2004. Remember, he was supposed to be Big Ben's backup (not the other way around), until Ben was injured in training camp, and then Tom led the Browns to an improbable playoff run capped with a victory over the Giants and Kurt Warner in the Super Bowl, beginning the Browns Dynasty. Also, I believe Nolan mentioned Bill Belichick was the Pats' head coach in this scenario, which is ASB as he was already hired by the Browns as Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at this time.

There was a video comparing the potential of team, as you say brown broke anyone guess beyond any chart. when the only team getting worse is...you guessed it right.

OOC: Inspired by this video, is pretty telling
, i leave vague who is the worst team, fill it.

Hue Jackson coached them in their shockingly disappointing season in 2011. He might be the coach you want if you want the Browns to be bad although I think he's unfairly blamed for the myriad of problems (starting with Brady's injury in the first quarter of the first game) the 2011 Browns had.

I looked that up, that's an interesting POD. Instead of purchasing the Browns, Jimmy Haslam decided to focus on supporting his brother Bill's political career which led to Bill Haslam's victory over of veteran Tennessee politician Ed Bryant in the 2002 Republican primaries for the Senate seat (although it helped Lamar Alexander didn't run in that election) which he holds to this day. Jimmy's done a lot outside of politics starting with of course his leadership of the Pilot truck stops, but you have to wonder if he didn't spend so much time supporting his brother in that race.1
