DBWI: Latest POD for Entente Victory in WWI

(OOC: Just wanted to counter these 'Late CP Victory' threads)

All right, so, unlike some people think, an Entente victory in World War One was possible. However, it depends on how late. If it's a POD at the start of the war, then it will be quite easy. How later you get, though, how larger German power will grow. However, there was always the naval blockade from Britain, which might actually favour a late POD.

So, how late do you think a POD could be, and what could be the results? Personally, I think the world might be slightly better off. With the return of Alsace-Lorraine to France, France will be satisfied, and however Germany might go through a minor crisis, I can't see fascism rising as in France and Russia IOTL. Anti-semitism and fascism in Germany is about as ASB as a long-term successful communist uprising in Russia.

Anyway... let's discuss.

A late Entente victory in WWI is possible, but only if you find a POD that causes the United States to enter the war.

They'd need someone on the Entente side to come up with a way to use tanks correctly before the Germans do. I heard that some of the Canadians had a few good ideas, and that Australian officer Monash did too - maybe if Monash survived for a few more years instead of eating a sniper bullet, or one of the more forward-thinking Canadians get put somewhere where they can actually do something useful?

The US business community was very unhappy at the trade restrictions the British blockade put on them, I think that's the real reason the US stayed neutral.

Perhaps it would just help to have Moltke not replaced in 1912 because of his bad health. I mean, Schmidt von Knobeldorf wasn't a military genius, but he was an iron leader, forcing his army commanders to execute his orders. - Moltke was much more clever, but also too soft - he might not have been able to keep the armies working together.
