DBWI: Kinnock to visit USSA

Premier Kinnock is to go on a state visit of the USSA - the first British premier to do so since the Anglo-American split of the early 1970s which cumilated in the Virgin Islands clashes which threatened to escalate into nuclear war.

Premier Kinnock will be touring several American cities before meeting Chairma Gotti in Debs DC.

It is hoped that this will usher in a whole new era of diplomatic relations between the two communist powers of the Anglosphere.

This is interesting. Hopefully it will lead to better relations between the two countries, as well as better relations between my own coutry of the PDC (People's Dominion Of Canada), since we've also been at odds with the USSA over the years.

I do wonder how Kinnock and Gotti will get along. At least they both have an affection for cigars. :)

This is very good news! Together, the Anglo-American workers and soldiers will smash the wicked Franco-Russian capitalist axis! Down with capitalism! Long live the Revolution! Long live the Party! Long live the People, united and free! "Arise, ye prisoners of oppression...!"

OOC: I love DB's where I get to spout Communist nonsense! :D

I gather that Comrade Commissars Foot and Scargill will be accompanying him. (I just hope that he doesn't walk underneath any unfortunate signs and get photographed by the Tsarist-Imperialist press again!) Also, the People's Commissariat of Internal Security have picked up rumours that the Arthur-Blairst Counter Revolutionaries of Mexico will be staging a demonstration in opposition, and that President Batista of Cuba will condemn the move. May Guantanomo fill with their degenerate carcasses! etc...

I'm excited.:D With the threat of the Mexicans and the Nigerians, I think an Anglo-American alliance is crucial. I hope Premier Gotti and his second-in-command, Sarah Palin, feel the same way.

Things are of course a lot more liberal in the FSRB now, Elton John was even allowed to tour the country for the first time since his defection to Poland in 1975.
