DBWI: Jewish Uprising in Palestine Succeeds?

Is it possible that the Jewish Uprising in Palestine could have succeeded, resulting in the emergence of a Jewish state after World War II? I assume this could only happen if the United States provided military support to the Jews, instead of just moral support.

What would such a state be called, perhaps "New Zion" or "Judea"? What would happen to the indigenous inhabitants of Palestine, would they have been assimilated into Jewish culture or would they have been outright expelled? How could New Zion survive if all of its neighbours opposed its birth, would it have just been invaded later?

"Judea" makes a lot of sense for the new Jewish state. However unless they manage to make nuclear bombs I don't see how it will survive past 1960.

It could take some more Arab land to be big enough to have nukes.

And how on earth are they going to take that Arab land WITHOUT the nukes? You're stuck with a Chicken or the Egg paradox there.

Anyways, while I consider the scenario ASB if we're going with the uprising as it was, MAYBE if you could get foreign Hebrew fighters coming in (and somehow able to get a source of transportation and arms that isen't going to get internationally sanctioned and blocked; let's not get into any "Jewish World Banker conspirsy" territory here) from around the world you might be able to pull it off. Still, were are you going to find enough Zionists dedicated enough to the cause to abandon their comfortable, largely upper-middle class lifestyles to colonize a strip of desert where everybody around you wants you dead?

Honestly, the territory of Palestine does roughly correspond with the Davidic kingdom of Israel, so I think that Israel would be more plausible name than Judea, which historically only referred to the Gaza, Negev, and Jerusalem environs.

However, I feel that I should point out that this would be a Jewish state owning or being very near Jerusalem, in a sea of Muslim states. Lebanon only gets away with its Catholicism because it’s not on anything important, it doesn’t annoy its neighbors, it makes itself useful for banking, and Mount Lebanon is strategically defensible. A Jewish Palestine is totally indefensible, would be utterly alien to the Arab/Levantine culture of the area, and would represent a major threat to Islam’s third holiest city. I don’t see how it could survive more than a couple of months without Egypt, Syria, and Transjordan crushing it.

Perhaps if the Immigration Act of 1924 went through, we could see a less extensive Jewish presence in the United States, with more going to Palestine? But even then, the British White Papers curtailed Jewish immigration to Palestine, and its not like a bunch of impoverished and desperate refugees could make a dent against Britain and the entire Arab world.
