DBWI: Hilter's dead.

It seems the Germans finally got back in touch with reality. The Reich's minister gave a speech today in which he confirmed that Hitler is in fact, dead, and has been dead since 1972, and that they will no longer cover it up. Morons.

I am actually quiet surprised he was alive for so long. I thought he would have died in the 60s, since it was then that he stopped making public appearances.

This is really starting to get to me! Doesn't anyone on this forum know what DBWI means anymore?!??!?!?

OOC: ArKhan it would be a DBWI If you asked a What if? for example DBWI: German government has finally recognized that Hitler died in 72, what would happened if he died in 45?, but yours is not a DBWI ...

OOC:people get to crazy about how a DBWI should go. It still works out the same way in my opinion.

IC: This is interesting, see as Himmler is the new Furer, and he's in his 80's now.Although I suspect that the SS and the Army Generals are the ones with the real power.

Well here in the DRI (OOC: Democratic Republic of Italy) there has been celebrations all over the place now there is hope for reunification between us and the NSRI (OOC: National Socialist Republic of Italy).

Now, will the Russians admit that Stain's dead?

Who knows. One would think that he died after that (almost) covered up car accident in '69.

After that he never did make anymore public announcements...

Any who, here in the USA there is a lot of rejoicing and partying. Almost anarchy. The Vice President even was even seen saying on national television that he was happy that the man was gone...

Not very good on diplomatic relations...

Especially since the president shook hand with the German Foreign Minister just a couple of weeks ago and talked about how good the relations between Germany and the US is.

Prime Minister Winston Churchill II has expressed his condolences for the official death of the British Empire's ally. We fought hard with the Germans against the communists in France and Spain. But we all know how he really feels. We never got on with the Germans that well, what with our obvious political differences. Still, I am proud to say that my Grandfather served with the Axis Combined Expeditionary Force in Canada. He died in the Battle of Huron Lake.

(OOC: Communist revolutions in France and Spain and a growing Russia caused the British to arm and join the Axis before taking out the French People's Global Territories, which was the name for the colonial empire of France)

Its a shame, really. I have from a very good source that the Advanced Projects people at Siemens very finally ready to present the first truly realistic (and stable) virtual model of Hitler. I mean lock, stock and barrel, a dynamic likeness with a randomized personality engine able to recreate all the emotions and quirks found in the classic Hitler recordings. Imagine, in just a few months Hitler could have been making new appearances in world media...

Ah, Hitler again. Risking to start another flame war, I'll just copy in my post in the other thread.

If people would look at the facts, they'd see that his counter-revolution in Germany failed utterly, as did his contribution to the anti-communist cause during the French civil war.
Instead all those young people just see the stylish brown shirts with his profile and the swastika and wear them because its "reactionary." IMO it would be more of a statement to wear Churchill T-shirts, that man really contributed to the Red defeat, but I guess his profile isn't as "iconic"....

Apparently Eva Braun Hitler and the "Gang of Four" (e.g. Alexander Andrae, Oskar Lutz, Hans Bernd von Grünberg, Wilhelm Meinberg, and Adolf von Thadden) have been running the entire government since roughly 1981.

I'm surpised that such a transition in power has gone unnoticed since 1979. Considering how close to war the United States and Germany claim to war in 1968, after Otto Ernst Remer and the Reichspolizei seized control of the nuclear weapons during the German Cultural Revolution, Hitler's government called for "greater openness"....

Well, he is still famous for issuing his speech of "We'll fight them on the beaches" when the Americans were attacking through Ireland. All of his other speeches are very famous as well, even in America where they aren't as popular (mainly for the reason that he was the man that led Britain to defeat them). I remember seeing a picture of him and Roosevelt signing the American instrument of surrender at Toronto. He was grinning and TDR was quite mopy.

I heard Einstein went back in time and shook his hand, destroying him...

...just a rumour...

Actually Einstein, who died in 1955, would have had to go FORWARD in time to end Hitler's life in 1972 or - if Rekjavik is right - in the 1960s:D.
