DBWI Germany had not tried Sealion

We all know one of the great mistakes the Germany made during WW2, was the disastrous attempt to invade Britain in 1940. Much of their fleet and airforce was destroyed, and they suffered a huge loss of manpower, and never reached the shores of Britain. But what if Hitler had not tried to invade Britain? What if the great fiasco that arguably turned the tables of the war in Allied favor had not happened??

When the SU seized the advantage and invaded while the Germans were taking their heaviest beating, the Generals deposed Hitler and stemmed the line east of Berlin.

Stalin made a hard bargain and Germany agreed to a free hand in the east while seeking an alliance with the UK and France (freed as part of the deal).

The SU went on an acquisition spree in the middle east and Africa and soon Western Europe was an isolated rump. In full accordance with Communist Doctrine the societies were weakened from within and eventually they fell to the traitors.

Today the United States of North America (Canada, Mexico invaded when communism threatened) fights in Venezuala to prevent its Southernmost province from being overwhelmed.

The "SU"? I assume you are talking about the USSR?

OOC: This is just about the worst example of "As you know, Bob" that I've ever seen.

IC: I'd say that Germany and the Soviets would wear each other out on the eastern front, resulting in the collapse of both; British forces would probably be able to liberate France around that time, too. Result: British-dominated Europe.

Meanwhile, the US and Japan would probably come to blows at some point or another; with a ruined USSR, there would be no reason to invade Canada and Mexico, so the Japanese would be crushed even worse than IOTL.

Ha! If you don't mind, I believe I will use a Syracuse University reference in response to all future manifestations of "SU" on this forum.

My wife points out that SU as a superpower obviously means basketball or lacrosse - definitely not football (we lost our home opener to the Akron Zip, that's right: who!?!?)

Um, yeah, we know. How about instead of quoting history to us you actually answer the question?

(OOC: Do not do not DO NOT do that! If you've come up with backstory then work it into your DB speculation! Don't just say a huge lump of actual history from TTL.)
