What if instead of the Grand Fleet being destroyed over the two day running battle, it was the High Seas Fleet which had been destroyed instead? It's not exactly impossible, Scheer was lucky to cross the British T, and despite the superior German gunnery which effectively destroyed the Grand Fleet's battleship core during the first day of the battle (which was actually the only part which took place at Jutland per se the rest was a running battle across the North Sea through the night harried by torpedo boats and destroyers before culminating with the survivors surrounded and nearly annihilated before finally surrendering the next day) the British started the battle with more ships than the Germans did.

So, how can the British avoid the 'German Trafalgar', and what would be the consequences?
