I never really had a problem with the Zone Rangers, but I have noticed you've stepped up your patrols. It's forcing some Hunters to venture deeper in the zone to gather loot. Some have even claimed to have seen ground zero with their own eyes. (I guess those folks can afford a king's ransom of Rad X)
I do wish you guys would just leave us be though. It's not like we're hurting anybody. Nobody who lived in the zone before seven years ago is alive and well today. And Hunters tend to give sentimental items back to any survivors....at a a vastly reduced rate mind you. Okay, so having a lot a pissed off survivors pointing your fingers at you all the time isn't good for business...and their some rather unscrouplous Hunters. Still, there's a lot of faker claiming to be relatives of the victims as well, however. It isn't our fault no one's been able to get the instanet up and running again yet, so he we check and make sure whose wbo for real without a thorough investigation!
But for the most part, we're just a bunch of guys risking our necks to put food on our families' table. And I most emphaticall assure you I have no affiliation with 'The University' and the 'Wyld Men' in the Zone.
Sure, some Hunters have run goods and supplies to the Universty, and the Wyld Men. But most would prefer to shoot those respnsibles for the cascade than help them!
The problem is, all the salvage is being identified, categorized and sorted to appropriate dispensing stations. Those that can be indentified and matched with a survivor or a next of kin are sterilized and reunited with it's owner.
The rest is used to finance the policty of the Zones. I know alot of you Zonies want nothing but a decent life, but the problem is, too many of you're scum-sucker citizens are causing problems.
I've only fired my rifle once, and I hope I never have to fire it again.
The University and the Wyld Men are notorious criminals, and are treated as such whenever caught. The second time I caught the same Wyld Man raping a Zonie girl, I was forced to take what little protective gear he had, and roll him down a the side of a mountain into a Level 5 Deep Zone. I doubt he lasted more than a week down there, before his body gave out on him.
Like I said earlier, if we can't keep at least a modicum of control over the zones, the UNGOV military will be in there like lions on a gazelle.
